Maceo will be able to make his dream a reality: performing with his devastating rhythmic section, formed by Dennis Chambers (drums), Rodney Curtis (bass) and the man himself with the support of the powerful WDR BIG BAND, who counts with more than twenty components and is directed by the prestigious director, pianist and producer Michael Abene. This new show called Roots'n'Grooves is composed with the first part being jazz and soul, as homage as well to the memory of Ray Charles, and a second part of funk with the best songs of their albums.
