La Superllesca, in case you haven't heard, is a genuine culinary experience that first opened its doors in Sant Boi fourteen years ago and has recently opened a branch in Barcelona's Eixample district.
The unique décor, with its rustic touches, ensures a warm, informal atmosphere ideal for lovers of good food.
Diners will find everything from the quintessential Catalan staple pa amb tomàquet (tomato bread) to a wide array of intense and original flavors, as well as traditional fresh market and Catalan dishes. And, of course, exquisite, melt-in-your-mouth Ibérico ham abounds.
At this family eatery, diners can choose from an extensive and meticulously assembled menu offering nearly seventy different types of llescas (bread smothered in the toppings of your choice). A veritable Cornucopia of top-quality ingredients are used, meaning everyone will find something to love. The possibilities are endless and include vegetables, cold cuts, tuna, grilled pork loin, melted cheese and more. All is drizzled exclusively with pure, extra-virgin olive oil.
For those who prefer, there are also over 25 different types of tortilla (Spanish omelet) made on the spot. What’s more, all meals can be complimented by a fresh, crisp salad or a serving of the establishment’s famous super patatas, fried potatoes renowned for their spicy homemade sauce. And don’t forget the ambrosial sangria, the perfect addition to any meal.
Part of the secret to their success is the care they take in cooking. All dishes are prepared fresh on the spot. But we won't reveal the rest. Discover for yourself and, in so doing, enjoy a different and delicious night out.
La Superllesca can seat up to 170 diners and can accommodate large groups. Call to make your reservation.
