Jorge Ochagavia was born in Logroño (La Rioja), in 1977, but right now he lives in Barcelona. He in the Escuela de Artes Aplicadas of Soria, Logroño and Limoges (France), in spite of his youth he has already received many prizes for his pictorial work as well as for his career as designer.

Ochagavia stands out of among the new young artists for his great artistic flexibility, not only he is a painter that has known how to express himself following new styles nearer to graphic design or to the art in the street, but also he is a singular sculptor and a creator of pieces of toys, that they are compared with the created by some of the best contemporary painters in the USA as well as in Japan.

The paintings that are exposed in the Freud are not done using any type of digital technique, they are oil or acrylic paintings but they directly search an expression very near to the digital art. The comic and an imaginary world that mixes the most oneiric childhood and the adult dreams are also part of the landscape of his pictures.
