Since its beginning, Fernando has been the face of this cocktail bar which, while sticking to certain criteria in their selection, knew how to adapt to the new trends that came about in the late 70's. Opinião opted for exoticism and in this way, made famous a drink that would eventually find a home in the Born atmosphere.

Ferocious Caipirinhas, based on cachaça, distilled Brazilian cane liqueur and lime juice, became popular among consumers of strong drinks. And 30 years after he's still going strong.

Indeed, Fernando's still at it. He's widened his selection to include whisky caipirinhas, rum caipirinhas, vodka caipiroskas and one without alcohol that is made with kiwi and passion fruit.

All the while you can hear 80's music in the background joining you as you happily down his famous caipirinhas.

The bar is decorated with wood and some pleasant shades of green and black that serve as an adequate setting to savor the cocktails.

With 31 years experience with this kind of cocktail bar, and despite clientele being addicted to the never ending process of renovation, Opinião has become a true classic in Barcelona's Zona Alta (Upper Area). Since '02 Opinião has found that their customers liked holding birthday parties and anniversary parties there, so whether for its charm or for what this bar represents in Barcelona, Opinião now offers the possibility of celebrating your party there. You can choose your music and catering, the bar will only supply the drinks, and they won't charge you a rental fee either.
