Inaugurated in '97, Black Horse is one of the very few English bars in the city. It appears out of the necessity to facilitate the integration of the newly arrived into the local life and of the dwellers to get to know other ways, It is not surprising, therefore, that the clientèle is divided into 50/50 between foreigners and locals.

The pub is located on a farm of the XVI century, classified as a historical Heritage monument. Its interior retains the original walls and vaulted arches, but nevertheless boasts the charm and sparkle of the British pubs, both for its typical décor and the attention paid to the guests.

Together with the usual activity in a pub, different cultural and playful activities are carried out. There are language contests, conversation classes, linguistic interchanges, the screening of series and pictures in their original guise, as well as a big board for the display of the guests' ads. There is even a football team along with the organisation of championships of darts and Play Station 2, not to mention the existence of an English dance group.

Every weekend, crowds gather to watch the main games of the English, Spanish, rugby, F1 and other important sports events.

There is a great variety of imported beers from GB, Ireland, Mexico, USA, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic and Australia.

The feasts of the Patron Saints of England and Ireland, or Halloween are duly celebrated.
