Lenny Kravitz declares that it is the moment for a revolution and throws a musical message to do precisely that with the publication of his eighth studio album, a deafening call to the rock 'n roll weapon, offering a universal fusion of soulful rhythms, funk and jazz and the undeniable lyricism that has been his mark up to the date. Considered as one of the preeminent musicians of rock of our time, Lenny Kravitz has transcended genres and styles along a musical career of 18 years, a career that is revealed in the wealth of influences of soul, rock and funk of the '60’s and '70’s. The multiple talents of Kravitz as composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer have resonated across seven studio albums in a timeless catalogue; all of them obtained the certificate of platinum disc or multi-platinum. From 1999 until 2002, he received four consecutive Grammy awards, establishing a record for a major number of awards in the category of ‘Best Male Rock Vocal’ for his single ‘Dig In’ (having won previously for ‘Again’, ‘American Woman’ and ‘Fly Away’). In 2004, he received his sixth nomination to the Grammy´s in this category for ‘If I Could Fall in Love’ for the sixth studio album,’ Lenny’. The attraction of Kravitz has been recognised also by his professional colleagues; his collaborations are so varied as his own influences, having worked with Madonna, Slash, Aerosmith, Jay-Z, N.E.R.D., Mick Jagger, P. Diddy and Alicia Keys. Lenny speaks about his new album
