Protégé of Thomas Bangalter (Daft Punk) and co-author of “Music Sounds Better With You” – nineties hymn that he signed together with Bangelart and Benjamin Diamon under the name Stardust – Alan Braxe has been building bridges between the French techno-house and the dance music for almost a decade, and fighting for a recognition that finally arrived with “Upper Cuts” – compilation that includes his best productions and in which contribute such artists as Fred Flake or Romuald. As re-mixer, he has been lately quoting high, thanks to his works for Goldfrapp, Röyksopp, Test Icicles, Kylie Minoge and Justice, among others.
