Always out of the spotlight, only surfacing to steal the name from one of the most popular characters of Truman Capote, the British Holly Goligthly has been more than one decade avoiding any trend and digging up sounds of another time – maybe also from another dimension – and getting them tangled in a ball of pop, folk, blues and garage constantly mutating. That was what she was doing when being the singer of Thee Headcoatees and so it is now that contributes with The White Stripes or invokes the ghost of The Carter Family to record the sublime and ghostly "You Can't Buy A Gun When You're Crying", nth album of her career and first one recorded together with the Brokeoffs.
