Although he has just made his debut in Tigerbeat 6 with “Smoke” – irreverent bold collision between pop, electronic music and synthetic glam – Joe has already managed to strongly echo his name in the North American underground thanks to a circle of friends that include people like Greeg Gillis (Girl Talk) and Luca Venecia (Drop The Lime), with whom he founded the project So Red. Hardened as a drummer in noise bands from his home town Cleveland, Williams started to become interested in pop after touring with “Girl Talk” and has just finished recording an album that sounds like if Eels had decided to vindicate glam and the neon lights.
