The sexy and feisty music of this stylish Danish duo, Sune Rose Wagner and Sharin Foo, is a unique combination of doo-wop and white noise, surf-pop and Motown, girl-bands and pure rock'n'roll, The Ramones and The Ronettes, Suicide and The Jesus And Mary Chain. The Raveonettes create dizzying walls of sound with their almost erotic boy-girl vocal harmonies and unashamedly '50s retro sound. Every one of their records is a little exercise in style, using simplicity to find beauty, and moving between romantic ballads and post-punk attitude. They composed, recorded and produced their fourth project, 'Lust Lust Lust' (2007), entirely on their own at studios in New York, Los Angeles and Copenhagen. It is an impeccable collection of 12 songs which updates their bi-tonal musical manifesto and more than lives up to their own rigorous high standards. That Great Love Sound
