The old Mercat de Sant Gervasi (Sant Gervasi Market), today gone, was constructed in 1913 and, of the same way the other century old markets that are still conserved, its structure was of iron.

It was in 1968 when the new market was constructed on the floor where, in this moment, is situated in the Ayuntamiento (City Council) of the era when Sant Gervasi was an independent municipal. It is a modern construction, of cement and rectangular level.
