The Mercat de la Vall d'Hebrón (Vall d'Hebrón Market), one of the most modern municipal markets of the city was constructed in 1969. In the same way of the majority of the other markets were constructed, during the same era in Barcelona, its structure is exposed concrete.

A part from the typical stalls of any suburban supermarket, the commercial offering of Vall d´Hebrón also includes a lottery administration and mattress shop, as well as a child minding service on Saturdays.

Since its inauguration, this market, with its nearly 8,000 square metres of total surface has suffered various reforms, the last in 1995.
