The Horta Market was constructed in 1951, and responded to the necessity that produced the continuing demographic growth that the district experienced in the ´50´s.

It has left behind the Modernism style, so the design of this market, of nearly 2,200 square metres of surface, coincides to the ones that were constructed in the same era. And that being, its structure is cement.
