Bogatell Beach is, together with San Sebastian Beach, one of the beaches where the older types frequent (between 37 and 38 years old) and nearly 30% of them live out of Barcelona.

With its 640 metres in longitude, this beach was remodelled in the ´90´s decade coinciding with the reforms that the coast of the city experimented with the Olympic Games of 1992 motive.

It is one of the most valued by its users owing, primarily, due to its security. As well, it has easy access by bike as it has a bike path. Some other equipment available are ping-pong tables, a volleyball area, drinking fountains and public toilets, showers and the hiring umbrellas and sundeck service, amongst others.
