The Levante Beach (East Beach), with it´s nearly 400 metres in longitude, is the smallest beach in Barcelona and also the newest, since it passed in the summer of 2006 to form part of the beach offering of the city.

Like its name indicates, it is the beach that finds itself in the extreme occidental extreme of the city, nearly touching the Forúm area, and is the result of the withdrawal of the breakwater of the Prim for the construction of the platform of the future marine zoo.

In spite of the little time passed since it has opened, the Levante Beach now counts with the necessary equipment and services: lifesaving chairs, showers, boardwalks…
