Argentinean rock band: 2008 "Civilización Tour". Los Piojos (meaning 'The Fleas') were formed at the end of 1988, residents of the Palomar, they commenced their career playing in small pubs in the western area of Buenos Aires and rapidly reaching the Porteño circuit. The flea music has strong folklore influences from Rio de la Plata (fundamentally, tango and candombe) and the greats of the history of rock like the Rolling Stones. The lyrics are poetic, pure and flat, without metaphorical roundabouts, that make the message clear and direct ("Pistolas que se disparan solas...caídos, todos desconocidos..." - Guns that go off themselves...fallen, all strangers).
