In 1999 Jay Swinscoe (photo) formed The Cinema Orchestra without knowledge of the excellent future and respect they would generate with the new project. In that time, Jay was employed at the Ninja Tunes shop at London, where he was in charge of international sales. In addition to this work so binding to the music, Jay was playing the bass in different bands and also was taking his first steps as a DJ, while his head kept on filling with ideas and influences such as his passion for the sound of bass, the rhythmic sections or the soundtracks.
