Across her poetry, Rosalía de Castro goes deep into the scenery, the customs and the language of her people, as well as into the pain that provokes the negligence to which Galicia had been condemned historically. In addition to popular and social poetry appearance, her work also stands out for a personal lyricism in the one that could capture the tragic sense of the human existence and the pain of her affective experiences.
