Picasso was one of the artists fascinated by Velázquez, but he was not the only one. The Forgetting Velázquez. Las Meninas exhibition at the Picasso Museum, demonstrates the importance this artist from Seville has had on European artists, since the 17th century.
The exhibition is not just of Picasso, who produced a series of paintings dedicated to Las Meninas, but includes later artists, as well as new formats such as videoart.
