Now that there really is an excess of irritating disc-jockeys, and any Tom, Dick or Harry can make their own bastard pop with two clicks of a mouse, now that everyone is playing Daft Punk everywhere every damn night and the kids are getting confused about what’s club and what’s rave, and only now that the craze for everything virtual is becoming shamelessly vulgar and banal are people starting to rediscover a taste for music created with love, dedication and hard work. 2manydjs, the instigators of this post-modern phenomenon, have conscientiously modernised the vocabulary and semantics of meta-dance. As a result, the work of these highly-skilled world class entertainers is now more appreciated than ever. With their meticulously woven DJ sets, these guys use all the mastery and precision of erudite craftsmen to splice and fold samples onto a background of rhythmic heterodoxy, incredible mixing, unstoppable beats and a mega-party spirit. And they do it all in the name of dance.
