Papawa
Papawa is gypsy combo who counts with Peret Reyes as lead singer, front-man and living legend of the Catalan rumba. And the fact is that the rhythm comes to him from family: his brother is Ramon Reyes "Ramonet" and he has as godfather, none other than Peret, "The King of the Rumba". The future of the musical roots of Barcelona is assured thanks to this explosive formation.
El tío Carlos
It is a group of worship in Barcelona. Their songs are full of the grace of Cadiz electrified, of Mediterranean
soniquetes, the flavour of festival without end and Latin grooves wrapped with a
mala leche bad attitude and
canallería (nasty trick) flamenco, elements, all of them, which point directly at the heart of Barcelona. The city which Tío (Uncle Carlos raises the skirts to show us the stage in where he moves, replete with colour and black humour, purity and miscellany.
