Artist Miguel Comamala offers a trip through the songs of the popular Belgian singer Jacques Brel.

"When it seems that new winds blow, happily laymen, a way of making use of them is to take a cathedral, demystifying it, to hoist a few sails and to weigh anchor course to the Pacific Ocean.

'La Cathédrale' (The Cathedral) - recorded by Jacques Brel in 1977, one year before his death - celebrates the passage that the artist did from the Belgian coast up to the Polynesia. Curiously, this song has remained unpublished until 2003, as if Brel had been 25 years sailing along the silence and now it was entering port singing, crafty and unforeseeably as always..." MC
