The young Barcelonan guitarist Albert Vila went to Amsterdam to study and returned to Barcelona with a degree of excellence under his wing. With his colleagues of the Count City – nothing short of fantastic, are the pianist
Roger Mas, on the drums Marc Ayza, the double bassist Tom Warburton and the saxophonist Enrique Oliver – put to record what would be their first CD, 'Foreground Music', an energetic and rhythmic work, which brings us close to the jazz schools from the 90's.
Keeping in line with their debut album, the guy from Poble Nou is for now a guitarist that expects an excellent future, full of splendorous moments. To confirm it you only have to get over to Jamboree.
