Although he was born in Chicago, the bluesman Zach Prather developed a majority of his career in Los Angeles and in the old Europe, where at present resides. Lover of Curtis Mayfield and a disciple of the great Willie Dixon, the guitarist Prather has been forged in the musicians' environment such as Screemin' Jay Hawkins, Etta James and Luther Allison, of the band of which he was a part of for three years. For a time, Prather worked in solitary. With his own formation he recorded a series of albums that have delighted the fans of the genre. His is a forceful, electrical, melodious style, with influences both of the soul and of the rhythm'n'blues. The whole luxurious visit that will leave anyone feeling indifferent; all those who approach the mythical place of the Plaça Reial.
