Barcelona Zona bastarda is a musical project that begins with a double record which gathers 35 themes of artists of distinct musical styles.
The Barcelona of the Barcelonians both of origin and adoption, the one which fights the building speculation, and which is beginning to be part of tourist guides, has just launched a discographic work which encompasses about forty artists who have settled down in the city and offers 35 themes.
Fashionable names and others not so well known who sing and play very diverse music which goes from the flamenco and rumba, through the ska and reggae to the hip-hop, pop-rock and electronic.
35 themes divided on a double CD which besides Castillean and Catalan, features English, Portuguese, French and Arabic.
It is the Barcelona of el Raval, of marginal and protest. New music, mixed, half breed and multi-ethnic.
