The Escuela Superior de Comunicación, Imagen y Sonido de Barcelona (CEV) – Superior School of Communication, Image and Sound of Barcelona – is a private centre born in 1975 as the Centro de Enseñanzas de la Imagen (CEI) – Centre of Teaching Image – and it was dedicated from the start to a professional course of Photography and Cinema. Throughout the years and with the technological changes the institution has evolved and amplified its acting area until covering the specialties that is relevant like CEV.

CEV was the pioneer in Europe to invent a formation system adjusted to the necessities that contemplated for the first time to reduced groups, very practical programs without academic hindrance, timetables and intensity of selection and a teaching integrated by the active professionals and teams that guarantee and academic result.

Three generations of professionals have passed that coincided as teachers and/or students between those, important figures and personalities in the professional environment as well as artistic.

Photographers, designers, sound technicians, producers, operators, that work in publicity, radio, television and producers of the country, which ratifies that studying in CEV is a guarantee.
