Located in the Eixample, this museum opened since '93, was born from the initiative of the Egyptiologist Jordi Clos and displays a large number of unique pieces of the Pharaos' Civilisation in a four leveled venue, one of them underground.

In the museum shop, one can find replicas of famous jewels, papers and books related to the Ancient Egypt. It has moreover a terrace, with sights over the city centre. Saturdays between 11:00 and 17:00 the visits are accompanied by an historian at the normal entry price.

There's a club aside which promotes interesting initiatives such as archaeological excursions to Egypt.
