Founded in '73, the City History Museum (MHCB) suffered from ´99, the process of reorganisation of the museums and municipal collections that took to the end the City Council of Barcelona with an objective of revaluing the historic patrimonial of the city and to conserve and to spread the objects and buildings that demonstrates its past.
The museum relies on an cultural offer that passes the barriers of its central headquarters, incorporating other significant venues of the patriotism of Barcelona. Like this, the Conjunto Monumental of the
Plaça del Rei
, the Museu
Monestir de Pedralbes
, the Museu-Casa Verdaguer and the Centre d'Interpretació del
Park Güell
, configures a rich patriotism of more than 200 years.
