A flagship building by the architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, this outstanding monument, which so embodies the Catalan Art Nouveau, or Modernista, architectural style, was completed in 1908. It has been declared a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO.

Today, the internationally renowned concert hall is home to a constant buzz of artistic activity, drawing acclaimed figures, orchestras and productions from around the world.
