Opened in 1997, Barroc has become a reference among the bars of El Born quarter. Its décor, style, and clientèle have remained faithful since its inception. Designed by Daniel Piniello, this venue of classical style is based upon a creative concept, which confers an agreeable ambience in which everything seems quietly alive.

In the evening, fashion and music are redefined, relating themselves and forming the exclusive image of this very famous place among the night lovers.

There are two distinct environments: an area for dancing and entertainment, led by the resident DJ Alex, with the weekly collaboration of other guest artists; and the other one, an ideal hall to have a drink and taste the cocktails, if you favour conversation.

Music here is the performer. The snacks served here go well along with jazz, chill-out, easy-listening, down tempo… and after 23:00, the main element is the extensive range of electronic: house, garage, deep house, synchronized with video art projections.

A festival of shorts is organised annually and each month there are exhibitions (painting, photography, sculpture).
