They are more than 20 in BCN, here is a little about their history...

Each one with its own style, philosophy and concept, all Irish pubs have something in common: a very cosmopolitan clientele, the screening of sporting events, black ale and British and imported beers.

Playing an important social role, both in the urban areas and the workers'
zones of Ireland and GB, the public houses can be traced back to mediaeval times.

They were, afterwards, transplanted to America, when and where, the largest immigrant communities settled down.

A little bit of everywhere, they became fashionable, not only was there a nucleus of settlers, but also they had gradually become meeting points for the English speaking people, foreigners and tourists from all origins.

Barcelona, a touristic and cosmopolitan city by excellence, could not be an exception to the rule.
