Concerts | Grec 2008 | Classic Music |

A mysterious commission. An obsession with death and a morbid curiosity about the afterlife. An unfinished composition turned into a posthumous work. Mozart's Requiem is, above all, one of the most impressive funeral monuments ever created by human hand. A unique performance enabling the audience to enjoy music by the genius from Salzburg in the open air, at one of Barcelona’s most enchanting venues. This event will provide a double treat for regular Grec Festival-goers: firstly, because it marks the return of the Liceu opera house to the Grec; and, secondly, because this will be a repeat of a concert performed exactly twenty years ago.
