Tafino is a very pleasant restaurant, the place to begin the night or finish the day; calm and unpretentious, where spontaneity and attention stand out. It is a place for a heterogeneous public, mostly young.
The subdued light and the ambience to the sound of jazz and Bossa Nova invites for the most intimate dinners, even though it can also be the setting for calm group events.
The décor combines the white walls with the black, mirrors, old lamps and candle chandeliers, managing to convey a distinguished but nevertheless modern look at the same time.
Tafino offers creative cuisine by the hand of young chef Armando Tovar, suggestive and innovative dishes that translate the different culinary procedures whence they take inspiration, such as the Venezuelan Pabellón Criollo, the English bread toast with apple sauté's and goat cheese or the "Leche por todos lados" ("milk all over the place"), a three milk dessert (evaporated, condensed and cream).
From the wine list the relation price/quality we advise the red Prado Rey (Ribera del Duero, Spain).
Moreover the menu enables anyone to choose something usual from among several list dishes, but with quality and generosity, in a restaurant that irradiates good taste in every sense.
