El Desbande ("to scatter") is formed by Olga Vall and Carlos Baruque, a Tango couple since '99 with their collaborators Soledad Corna and Andrés Granollers, together with other teachers from Buenos Aires that work with them every trimester.
Between the dancers of prestigious such as Federico Farcfaro and Laura de Altube, together with all the people that learnt and still learning how to dance with El Desbande.
In the classes, one begins by learning the technique and the "milonguero" tango codes so that little by little, depending of the style that better suits the characteristics of each dancer, one seeks the elements of a most recent tango without ever leaving the essential of the la milonga.
Presently, El Desbande counts with a good number of pupils and has classes every workday. The school also organises intensive courses all the weekends, at least once every three months (beginner´s or advanced), taking advantage with the with the stay of renowned Argentinean teachers in Barcelona.
Each Tuesday a milonga is held (a venue where the Tango is performed), with live music in the Corto Club, jazz room and live music.
On Fridays, the milonga "El Desbande" is held, a pretext for the gathering of most students and friends to enjoy the dance, always counting on the participation of Olga and Carlos, helping those in need of technical advice or to be enlightened on movements, steps and Tango figures. The Tango Tempois softened by the DJ Boero's music.
On Tuesday´s the milonga has live music in Corto Club.
