After the successful experience of Upiaywasi, Tommaso de Luca opened this Italian style trattoria, reenacting the bar cafeteria with kitchen, found in Taranto, his birthplace.

«La Gioconda», mixes art, savouring coffee and gastronomy in a small, cosy place in a straightforward style, resorting to the reproductions of Leonardo Da Vinci's works, thus evoking the Florentine painter's legacy and the Renaissance ambience.

The public, eminently young and from the vicinity, drop by to have Italian cuisine dish and 15 kind of pizzas.

There are pasta dishes from 6,00 and meat at about 11,00. The kitchen functions continuously from midday well into the night. Selection of pastas, salads, Carpaccios and rices always available. To go along with them, there are about twenty Italian wines, among rosés, reds, whites and fresanti, to sip along to the sound of varied music (essentially from the 70's, 80's and jazz).

Available is a plasma TV screen for the viewing of football matches on the Digital Satellite Channel.

After dinner, the BarceloCa readers are invited to have a complementary typical Italian liqueur.
