Matsuri Sushi Bar is the follow up of the the successful neighbouring Matsuri restaurant. The best of the Japanese cuisine is offered in a gracious manner by the chef Edo Komoro and his aides Filipe Yuki and Jefferson Obara.
Creative sushi dishes, that can be tasted sitting at the bar, as it is usual in Japan, or at the tables if you happen to be in a large group.
The music invites to an intimate ambiance and mood and the treatment is respectful denoting a kind service.
The culinary proposition comprises sushi dishes on one hand and creative Japanese on the other.
To start of, we advise you to order the Wakame kelp salad and Green salad, with sesame vinaigrette; for a maina, the Gyu Niké in Tataki (a Carpaccio of veal sirloin in Ponzu sauce); sushi Salmon Roll with prawn Tempura, salmon, caviar and spring onions; or the Moriawase, which is eight varied Niguiris and a California Maki. Then, you’ll have Sashimi Maguro and Shake (six tuna tuna pieces and six of salmon).
As a dessert, we undoubtedly recommend the fried green tea ice cream. There are 34 selected wines, the majority being Spanish, from which we specially point out the Marqués de Cáceres, or the Oroya, a special French wine to go along with sushi. The cocktails that are featured in this offer are the Caipiriña and the Sakepiriña.
At midday there is a menu sushi formula that features four Niguiris and four spicy tuna, besides a starter, dessert and a drink.
Catering is available, with all the services, for home and business.
