Syrah is known for its extensive selection of Catalan and Mediterranean dishes, which include everything from the most innovative to the classics.

A wide, but balanced, taster's menu allows us to discover the various aspects on offer: two tapas, two starters, two main dishes, one pre-dessert and one dessert, elaborated with harmony and evidencing the most innovative culinary techniques.

Xavier Gruber reveals his style in his starters, where he exhibits small details of his cooking capabilities. Small spoons, bubbles, a futuristic English breakfast… all the techniques, textures and flavors have presence.

Their starters are an occasion to reinterpret authentic Catalan classics in a surprising way: an Escudella with a meat coulant soufflé, without forgetting to mention an excellent sea and mountain rice with tripe and prawns.

Looking at their fish and seafood offer we'll find it l'all cremate (toasted garlic), another daring sea and mountain dish and other more traditional, but slightly sophisticated possibilities.

"El Garrinet" with Golden Apple puree stands out amongst the meats, where each dish has been made using the most appropriate culinary technique. A delicious minute-cooked foie with vegetable in a smooth pickled sauce makes it hard to choose.

Desserts include chocolate, autochthonous and foreign fruits and two daring possibilities: Peanut financieros with pineapple, toffee and curry ice cream, and the "Guiness" brioche, cherry ice cream, white chocolate where the contrast in flavors delights the palate.

As for wine marriage, Syrah has over 200 domestic and international wines that have been carefully selected by their sommelier. Their offer makes room for proven classics as well as eye-opening innovations.

The friendly staff achieves an atmosphere that is only possible by combing youth with experience, but especially, a love for gastronomy and a devotion to the trade.
