Con sus 400 metros de longitud, la playa Nova Icària es, junto con la
playa del Bogatell, la que registra un tiempo de estancia más largo por parte de los usuarios, posiblemente porque es considerada una de las más tranquilas y porque son frecuentes las familias con niños y los grupos de amigos.
With its 400 metres of longitude, the Nova Icària Beach is, together with Bogatell Beach, the one registered as being stayed on longer by its users, possibly because it is considered one of the most tranquil and because it is frequented by families with children and groups of friends.
A great part of its users do not live in Barcelona and there is a great influx of foreigners. A lot of them come walking.
Between the equipment that is available, the highlights are a games area, a ping-pong table and two volley ball camps. As well, it counts with an area for people with limited mobility to facilitate the entrance and the exit of the water by means of footbridge and if necessary, there is a possibility of using an amphibious chair.
