Rosa Negra is a Taquería (taco place) that breaks away the stereotypes usually associated with Mexico. Its style is modern and the décor spontaneous, without any claims to exceptionally. Both creative and intentionally kitsh, it is the work of designer Lorena Zertuche, who resorts to much colour and objects of the daily life and culture to achieve a colourful and picturesque ambience.

The philosophy of the 3 B's. “Bueno, bonito and barato” (Good, beautiful and inexpensive) prevails both in what regards the environment and cuisine and treatment. A young staff that have as their motto to attend amiably present the dishes a typical of the country, under the supervision of young chef Fernando Zorrilla and of the team from Cuernavaca.

The musical background in the restaurant is mainly conferred by diverse Latin sounds: salsa, and occasionally by some Cuban and Brazilian sounds.

Even though reservations are not accepted and it may prove difficult to find a seat right away at weekends, it usually doesn’t take long until a place vacates. If you prefer, you can take away your meal.

As entries we recommend Nachos (3,50); and as principal Arranchera (7,50) or Camarones a la Diabla, shrimps with spicy tomato sauce (7,10); Desserts: Crepas de cajeta, apple and cinnamon (3,00) or white chocolate mousse with pistachios (3,50).

You can also find the typical beers of this Latin-American country: and you can also savour the star cocktails: Pacífico, Negro Modelo, or Corona, and also the cocktails: the classical Margarita or the strawberry choice.

Readers of BarceloCa are invited to a margarita shot drink as a digestive, after the meal.
