Sinopsis:
Vampir-Cuadecuc is possibly the key film to understand the transition that takes place in the Spanish cinematographic field from the period of the "new cinemas" (allowed by the pro-Franco administration) towards the clandestine, illegal practices or openly of anti-Franco opposition.

Count Drácula consists of a filming of the shooting of the commercial film, of Jesús Franco. Portabella exercises two types of violence on the standard narrative: it eliminates completely the colour and image - sound replaces the sound-track with scenery of collisions in charge of Carles Santos.

Filmed provocatively, in 16mm and with negative of sound, the tensions between the target and the black favor the strange “fantasmatic materialism ” of this analysis revealer of the mechanisms of construction of the illusionism of the narrative domineering cinema, which at the same time constitutes a radical intervention in the Spanish cinematographic institution.
